TLO Info Tag 2/3: Burgau - Ort - immer einen Sprint wert

Zwischen 7.6. und 9.6. findet das heurige Thermenlandopen statt. Neben dem Alpen Adria Cup findet am Samstag die ÖM Sprint der Jugend statt. Am Sonntag folgt die Staatsmeisterschaft über die Langdistanz. | on june 7th-9th thermenlandopen is back in Fürstenfeld and Burgau. Am Samstag begeben wir uns in die Marktgemeinde Burgau, bekannt für ihr idyllisches Wasserschloss.
Was gegenüber dem Vortag unverändert ist: wieder liegt das Wettkampfzentrum mit Start und Ziel äußerst attraktiv im Gelände des Freibads.


Das Sprintgelände ist durch das Schloss mit dem umgebenden Parkgelände, und den Markt Burgau (geschlossener Ortskern, Siedlungs- und Gewerbegebiete) gekennzeichnet. Die längeren Kategorien werden einen Kartenwechsel haben, um das nicht allzu große Ortsgebiet optimal nutzen zu können.

Das junge Bahnlegerteam hat keine Mühen gescheut, um knifflige Routenwahlen und Postenstandorte, die genaues Kartenlesen erfordern, auszuhecken.


Alle Läuferinnen und Läufer müssen sich bis spätestens 14:30 Uhr im Schlossbad Burgau oder aber in der Quarantäne einfinden – letzteres betrifft die Kategorien DH-16E, DH-18E, DH-20E, DH21E.

Das Ortsgebiet ist wie üblich am Wettkampftag ab 10:00 Uhr Sperrgebiet.

 

On Saturday we go to the market town of Burgau, known for its idyllic moated castle.
What is unchanged from the previous day: the competition center with start and finish is once again located in an extremely attractive location in the area of ​​the outdoor swimming pool.


The sprint area is characterized by the castle with the surrounding park area and the Burgau market (closed town center, residential and commercial areas). The longer categories will have a map change in order to make optimal use of the not very large local area.


The young course setting team spared no effort in devising tricky route choices and control locations that required precise map reading.

All runners must be at Schlossbad Burgau or in quarantine by 2:30 p.m. at the latest - the quarantine applies to categories DH-16E, DH-18E, DH-20E, DH21E.

As usual, the competition area is restricted from 10:00 a.m. on the day of the competition.
